Please wait for our update!

Sorry for not updating our blog lately. We – mostly Ali  had been quite busy while we were staying Yukuhashi – Seio’s parents house . Anyway now we are Tokyo and we are off to London tomorrow! This is our last flight and we are looking forward to going back to England! We heard that Europe has got a plenty of snow and very cold lately. Hope our cold will not get worse when we get back. Our computer is full up now and therefore our final photos and also Ali’s English part will be updated when we get back home. Anyway we cannot wait for our Christmas dinner!  Yeah!   by Seio

Lack of Internet Access!

Sorry about the recent lack of blog updates – compared to the USA and Canada, New Zealand hotels have quite costly internet access, plus we have been on the move almost every day this past week!

We are trying to catch up, but what with having so much fun and everything it has been quite difficult to find the time (^^)v

We’re Back!!!

Hello everyone! As you can see from the major update…we are back in action…back from our ‘vacation from a vacation’!! Actually we were staying with relatives for a while there, and then moved on to Las Vegas where we got carried away with the gambling…no not really – we didn’t have internet access at our Las Vegas hotel, so we have been unable to update our antics until now!! We are fine and well though and still enjoying the trip. We both have ‘suitcase muscles’ now and seem to have grown in size due to all the eating we have been doing!! Unfortunately I still do not have a suntan – although I do plan to work on that one in Hawaii!!

I can’t believe almost a month has passed since we started our ‘Big Trip’ – the time has just been flying by … a good sign I am sure (^^)v

On vacation!!!

Sorry everyone but we are spending time with our relatives in Michigan and Louisiana at the moment and are therefore “on vacation” from our blog. We will be back soon!

Leaving on a Jet Plane!

Departure day – We were all up at 4am to get to the airport in plenty of time. It was everyone’s first time to go through Heathrow Terminal 5, but it was very easy to get to. The terminal itself looks more like something you might find in London’s Financial District – clean lines, shiny floors and lots of glass!

Anyway, check-in was smooth and trouble-free. Time seemed to go really quick and before we knew it we were being called to board. This was it – we were off on our 3 month journey.

The flight itself went surprisingly fast – I think it must have been because we are so used to the 12.5 hour flight to Osaka. This seven hour flight was just right – enough time to sit  back, relax, take in a couple of movies and have a bite to eat. I had a veggie meal and Seio had a regular one – but both were really tasty. The on-board video systems are much better these days as well – you can play, pause, rewind and start your film anytime you personally want with out having to stick to one general schedule .

A little while into the flight, the attendants came round with little green and white forms. Even though we had already arranged the now compulsory ESTA travel authorisations, we still had to fill out an immigration card and customs declaration form….seems a bit redundant, but they must have their reasons I suppose. By the time we had finished filling all of those out, it was nearly time to land…
